How it all started…
At the age of 24, while working as a Marketing Director for a Technical College, Yaisa decided that working a job and living paycheck to paycheck was not the life she wanted. She bought her first foreclosed house, made the necessary repairs and sold it for a profit of $20,000. A few months later, Yaisa purchased and renovated another foreclosed home but decided to hold it for rental property.
In January of 2005, a single mom with a two-year old daughter, Yaisa was diagnosed with Lupus and Kidney Disease. Chronic health issues and treatments halted her real estate investing career and prevented Yaisa from working for 13 months.
After returning to work in 2006, Yaisa again pursued her passion for being an entrepreneur. In 2007, she purchased a commercial cleaning franchise. But the stress of on-going health problems, being a single mom and working full-time were too much so in 2009 Yaisa sold her franchise.
A year later, Yaisa was introduced to the direct sales and home based business industry. She initially experienced many setbacks and failures, which was exactly what she needed to go through to help her grow into a stronger and more focused entrepreneur.
In 2012, Yaisa founded Asiay Development, Inc. A consulting firm where she shares her business knowledge and life experiences with clients to help them get from where they are now in their life and business to where they want to be.
